ACT DIFFERENTLY

We had already helped BT Commercial and Brands Division create a strong and relevant motivational message - “Winning Matters” Now the challenge was to build on it’s success and get more of the sales team to step up to the plate.

So instead of looking outwards, this event turned the spotlight on the 600 people in the room and issued a challenge to them “What are you waiting for?” – they had to do things differently. We needed to find a way to inspire the sales team to recognise that increasing their activity and their contribution was critical. The message from the company and the division was that they had all the tools, products and services they could possibly need to succeed. Now the spotlight was on them as sales people to deliver. We designed a 360 degree set with the audience centre stage, five screens, and the “Winning Matters” logo revealed from behind pictures of the delegates created instant drama, it sent out the message that the focus was firmly on them and that things needed to change.

The event focused on how to deliver real business success, showing how others had succeeded and what BT customers were looking for. We used a fast-paced combination of live delivery, pre-recorded material and powerful animated graphics to sustain a visually stimulating conference which extended through to the evening awards ceremony designed to recognise and applaud sales success. The messages of the day were communicated to a wider audience through DVDs and intranet.
There was no place to hide, the means to win business were within everyone's reach, they just needed to do things differently and really start maximising the full sales opportunities in front of them.
